2023 Legion Sports Fest Pro Results
The Legion Sports Fest Pro has a history of creating stories, and the 2023 edition was no different. The contest was held on the weekend of Oct. 7-8, 2023 in Reno, NV, and there was a pay-per-view stream for fans not in attendance. Eight pro contests were held, and there were several bodybuilding stars both competing and watching from the audience. This show was significant because the final qualification spots for the 2023 Olympia Weekend in Orlando, Florida were on the line. Some big names seized the moment, while others will have to look forward to 2024. Here’s a quick look back at what happened in Reno.
Men’s Open
This was Charles Griffen’s only show of the season, but one was all he needed to take the Mr. Olympia qualification. He was the winner here, but many fans are talking about traditional 212 competitor John Jewett, who managed to finish as the runner-up. He may have a future in the Open going forward. Justin Rodriguez left the stage with the bronze medal.

Classic Physique
Logan Franklin needed this win to qualify for the Classic Physique Olympia, but Terrence Ruffin showed up and showed out to take his second win of the season. Since the Olympia qualification doesn’t roll down to the next non-qualified athlete, Franklin is out of the Olympia this season. Daryn Shirbayev finished behind Franklin in third place.

Men’s Physique
We don’t normally start recaps with Men’s Physique, but this was the shocker of the year for this division. Kyron Holden has been a top contender for the Olympia before, but on this day, he managed to defeat the reigning Olympia champion Erin Banks to take the Legion Sports Fest Pro win. The win gives him a lot of confidence going into the Olympia in Orlando on Nov. 3 and 4. Banks and Andre Ferguson rounded out the top three in this star-studded event.

Five of the IFBB Pro League’s six women’s divisions held competitions at this show as well. The only division not featured was Women’s Bodybuilding. Among the winners were Masters Olympia champion Jessica Reyes Padilla (Figure) and Julia Monroe in Women’s Physique. Aimee Delgado took her fifth win of the season in the Bikini division, and Victoria Reyes Villa claimed the Wellness title. The most dramatic moment may have been in Fitness, where Taylor Learmont and Kristin Pope tied for the win, but the tiebreaker was who won the Routine round. That meant Taylor Learmont claimed the victory and 2023 Fitness Olympia qualification. The top five finishers for all five contests are below.
