2023 Olympia Predictions - Womens Divisions
It’s Olympia week at last! The counting down has gone from weeks to days, and then everyone will be on their way to Orlando, FL for the 2023 Olympia on Nov. 2-5. As we have in years’ past, we broke out our crystal ball and will try to predict the outcomes for all 11 contests taking place. These predictions come on the weekend of Oct. 28, so if an athlete bows out between now and the Olympia, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, here’s how we see the women’s shows playing out.
Ms. Olympia
There is simply no way we can go against the defending three-time champion Andrea Shaw. She won the Rising Phoenix earlier in the season, and she looked dominant doing it. Angela Yeo looked better at that show than she did at the 2022 Olympia, and we think she could come in even better in Orlando, but the champ will be better as well. The top three at the Rising Phoenix will be the same top three next weekend.

Women’s Physique Olympia
If you’ve seen the pictures and videos of Sarah Villegas in recent weeks, then you know she’s leaving no stone unturned in her quest to regain the Women’s Physique title from Natalia Abraham Coelho. Many people have their eyes on that rematch, but we think they are sleeping on Brooke Walker. She was third a year ago, and we think she could be even better this year. Villegas will win the title, but Walker will take another step forward.

Fitness Olympia
The FItness Olympia is shaping up to be a legendary event. Canada’s own Missy Truscott will look to defend her title while Whitney Jones wants back the title she never lost. Then, there’s Ariel Khadr who is looking for her first championship. This is the first Canadian champion we see defending their title. Khadr will be her best, but Truscott takes number three.

Figure Olympia
Cydney Gillon is to Figure what Andrea Shaw is to Women’s Bodybuilding. She’s dominant and until you have a reason to doubt her, you shouldn’t. Very few people can say they have seven Olympia wins to their credit, but our crystal ball says Gillon joins that club. However, Canada’s own Lola Montez moves one step closer to the top by finishing as Gillon’s runner-up.

Bikini Olympia
The Bikini Olympia has four past champions in the lineup, but our eyes are on the two-time Arnold Classic Bikini International winner, Lauralie Chapados. The Canadian superstar has one left major title to claim, and our fingers are crossed that she can claim it in Florida. She will have to face 2022 winner Maureen Blanquisco to do it, but Chapados has beaten her once this year already. Fellow Canadian Jennifer Dorie will be in the top three as well.

Wellness Olympia
2023 Wellness International winner Kassandra Gillis wants to bring the first Wellness Olympia title to Canada, but standing in her way is two-time champion Francielle Mattos as well as 2022 runner-up Isabelle Nunes. This will be quite the contest, and we are rooting for Gillis, but Mattos will be ready for a serious showdown. Objectively speaking, she would have to be off the mark to be at risk of losing the title.
