B.C Steroid Bust

British Columbia police in Kelowna are calling it a massive cash and drug bust and early Christmas present! Mounties in British Columbia have just released details of a steroid and recreation bust which occurred December 13th at the Sandman Inn on Harvey Street. Sgt. Ann Morrison says police were called to the hotel initially to follow up on a theft complaint. Morrison says while inside the suspects hotel room, police located a safe.

"We recovered a half pound of powder heroin, powder cocaine, anabolic steroids, prescription pain killers, a significant amount of jewelry, $27,000 in cash and over a pound of crystal meth."

In total, police seized $200,000 worth of drugs. Morrison says two 21 year old women and 38 year old man, all from Kelowna were arrested and released, while police await charge approval.
