Within days of parting ways with BSN, Flex Lewis has announced that he's now teamed up with Scott James to be part of Sinister Labs, a functional food company. Sinister Labs makes caffeine and protein-infused spreads, protein infused muffins, power pancakes, coffees, other foods, beverages and clothing. The ironic part of this story is that Scott James is the former owner of BSN! Scott James and Chris Ferguson started BSN in 2001 in the back of a small supplement store in Delray Beach, Florida. Later in 2011, they sold BSN to Glanbia for $144 million dollars. So to say this venutre is well funded would be as modest as saying Flex Lewis has big muscles! Scott James also ownes Torque Sports & Performance which is an MMA gear and apparel company.

“My passion has always been to bring the highest quality, next generation food supplementation to the market. Sinister represents the evolution of this philosophyand I couldn’t be more excited about our first few products and the team we have assembled to support their launch”.

Flex Lewis, joins the partnership, bringing over 10 years’ experience in both, competition and supplementation. Flex has developed into an iconic figure bodybuilding, starring in dozens of training films, and owning a private gym in Slouth Florida exclusive to athletes. His decision to become a partner in Sinister Labs was fueled by the opportunity to expand his brand and business.

“As an entrepreneur and champion of the sport of bodybuilding and fitness I have always wanted to create quality products that the market has not seen. Teaming up with Scott James to create Sinister Labs I now have the gateway to showcase my passion for both business and the fitness industry.” - Flex Lewis
