Canadian IFBB bikini pro Leigh Brandt recently returned from a two-week trip to Australia and New Zealand, where she travelled to represent her sponsor, PharmaFreak, at the FitX expo in Melbourne. Leigh worked the Nutrition Systems booth all weekend and also competed in the Australian Pro show. She finished seventh in a tough lineup that included three of the top five from the Arnold Classic, including Ms. Olympia Ashley Kaltwasser.

I had a great experience in Melbourne, as showpromoter Tony Doherty really took very good care of us ladies, and the FitX expo was a lot busier than I was expecting, with very passionate and welcoming Australia fans,” says Leigh.

The following week Leigh made her way to Auckland, New Zealand, with Ashley, India Paulino, and Stacy Alexander and finished in seventh place in the New Zealand Pro. To her surprise, she landed the cover of Women’s Health & Fitness Australia, which is her fifth cover to date! Finally, after numerous weeks of contest prep, five flights, 25 hours of travel time, three time zone changes, two pro shows, and the FitX expo, Leigh was able to enjoy some downtime on the Sunday after the New Zealand Pro, as show promoter Moe El Moussawi took the travelling group of pros, which also included Evan Centopani and Jose Raymond, on a sightseeing adventure around the beautiful New Zealand countryside, which included many stops along the way for cheat food. “This was a great experience, and I'm blessed to have a great company like PharmaFreak that supports me with these amazing opportunities,” says Leigh.
