Shawn Flexatron Rhoden Leaves Sci-Tec Nutrition

The Arnold Sports Festival is only a few weeks away, and no time of year is busier around the bodybuilding and supplement industry. We’re flooded with an endless stream of new product announcements and major new stories.

However, nothing could have prepared us for what transpired just a few days ago. Last year we saw two of the highest ranked IFBB Pro bodybuilders make a jump from their previous sponsors to team Ultimate Nutrition. The reigning, six time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath moved from his self-titled brand Gifted Nutrition, and the 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson parted ways with Blade Nutrition. It’s now been revealed that another big name bodybuilder has left his major sponsor, although there is no word yet on where he is going.

For quite some time now Shawn “Flexatron” Rhoden has been with the European company Scitec Nutrition, although before that he was with a couple of other major names with the likes of Ronnie Coleman Signature Series and VPX Sports. This was extremely unexpected as the 2015 Mr. Olympia Runner-Up only signed with Scitec back in February 2015.

There has been no mention of where Shawn Rhoden is going just yet, only that he’s officially left Scitec Nutrition. He’ll definitely be an athlete that’ll help shape a brand, or even the other way around with what ever company he signs with being something that could help shape him. All of the big supplement companies (and even some websites/stores!) will be in the game to sign him to their brand.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how the game plays out!
