BSN NO Xplode Supplement Review

When BSN came out with NO-Xplode in 2004, it became one of the most widely used and talked-about supplements on the market. Since version 2.0 came out, BSN decided to re-engineer NO Xplode based on conversations with supplement users. BSN reformulated and relaunched NO-Xplode as version 3.0, the most potent one to date. Not a lot of companies out there will spend all that time and energy developing something based on user feedback and scientific research. According to feedback in the developmental stage, BSN’s NO Xplode “delivers the right level of energy, endurance, and muscle pumps.” Any hard training athlete knows that the “right level” is maximum!

What Separates BSN’s NO Xplode from Other Pre-Workout Supplements?

Some pre-workout products give you the bare minimum essentials: caffeine, creatine, beta-alanine, and niacin. Others go a little above and beyond and throw in taurine, citrulline, and a couple of B vitamins. Then, there’s BSN. BSN NO-Explode not only has the aforementioned ingredients but also uses scientifically proven products such as choline, betaine anhydrous, L-phenylalanine, Huperzia serrate, and L-tyrosine to enhance your workout and post-workout gains.

What we like about the Canadian labeling of BSN’s NO Xplode is its honesty; there’s no “proprietary blend” or “matrix” or “complex,” just a milligram value assigned to each of the 24 ingredients. BSN’s NO Xplode doesn’t hide behind fancy adjectives; it just lays all its components out on the line, in their research-based quantities.

BSN NO Xplode’s 3 Big Claims to Fame

All 24 of BSN NO Xplode’s ingredients can be categorized into three different groups, depending on what the athlete’s goal is:

1) Explosive energy: To maximize your workout and achieve the results you want, you need energy. That’s not an option. But we’re not just talking physical energy; we’re talking about channeling that energy psychologically and ensuring a mind-muscle connection. Huperzia serrate, N-acetyl-tyrosine, caffeine anhydrous, grapefruit bioflavonoids, and pterostilbene: caffeine cocrystal are the ingredients.

2) Enhanced endurance: Whether you’re a bodybuilder, CrossFitter, or amateur or professional athlete, your body responds to the amount of work you do over a period of time. Whether you’re in the gym or on the field, the ingredients BSN has chosen for enhancing endurance and enhancing workout capacity are second to none. The combo in NO Xplode gives you the ability to exercise longer: beta-alanine and beta-alanine HCl, betaine anhydrous, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium oxide, and cholecalciferol.

3) Maximum Performance: This sounds vague and all-encompassing, and it is. “Performance” in this case refers to muscular strength, power, and endurance. All three are supported by creatine in the body. As a result, BSN NO Xplode contains creatine monohydrate, creatine anhydrous, and creatine peptides (hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, creatine monohydrate), taurine, di-calcium phosphate, di-sodium phosphate, Astragalus membranaceus extract (root), and Panax notoginseng extract (root).

If you haven’t heard of some of the ingredients in BSN NO Xplode, have no fear! This company is on the cutting edge of research, so its choices revolve around what’s new and hot in the laboratories, not necessarily the gyms!

How to Take BSN NO Xplode

Pre-workout, obviously! We tested the product out 20 minutes before a workout. Mix one scoop with 4 to 6 ounces of cold water. Truthfully, one scoop of BSN NO Xplode is enough for even the most hardcore stim junkie, mostly because the serving size is big (17 grams). BSN also recommends you not take more than two scoops at a time or in one day, so start with one scoop and see how you fare. Remember that BSN NO Xplode has approximately 200 milligrams of caffeine per serving, so divide the rest of your daily caffeine consumption accordingly. Another thing to keep in mind when taking BSN NO Xplode is that it’s already effervescent (meaning kind of bubbly), so don’t shake the powder with water; instead stir with a mixing utensil or gently shake it.

BSN’s NO Xplode comes in five delicious flavours: Green Apple, Blue Raz, Fruit Punch, Grape, and Watermelon; there’s something for everybody in that lineup!
