Quinton Beastwood Eriya Has His Eyes Set on 2024
You’re going to see a lot of pro bodybuilders compete in the 2023 season. One that you will likely not see onstage is Quinton “Beastwood” Eriya. On March 21st, Eriya shared a post on Instagram indicating that he has no intentions of competing this year and his eyes are set on 2024.

In the video, Eriya is going through a variety of poses, and he appears impressive in all of them. He’s made the most of his offseason, which appears to be continuing for at least another year. As you can see, the HD Muscle athlete tagged popular bodybuilding coach Matt Jansen in his post with the hashtag “Camp Jansen.” That would indicate that he and his coach are unified in this decision.
Eriya is a Canadian competitor, and he’s been a professional since 2019, when he made his pro debut at the Toronto Pro. He placed fifth in that show. He followed this up by placing sixth in Vancouver that same year.
2020 brought on a lot of issues for all competitors thanks to the pandemic, but Eriya still found his way onto the New York Pro stage that year. He finished eighth in his only 2020 competitive appearance. “Beastwood” made a big impression on a lot of fans and insiders in 2021 thanks to two fifth-place efforts in both Romania and Toronto.
That attention was magnified when he competed in the 2022 Tampa Pro and finished in the top three. Akim Williams won that show, and Kamal Elgargni came in second place. Some fans argued that Eriya should’ve finished ahead of the 2019 Olympia 212 champion. He competed once more in the Texas Pro and came in fifth place.
At 6’1” and a competition weight of around 260 pounds, In another post, he reported himself to be over 300 pounds at this stage of his plan. Eriya is known for his height and phenomenal leg development for a guy that height. It appears that his goal with this extended offseason is to build more overall size onto his tall frame. When he competed in Texas, he was outsized by the winner, Andrew Jacked. This year could be very productive if he can stay healthy and build that muscle on the right places without affecting his symmetry and proportions negatively.
Eriya didn’t say what contest he would want to enter in 2024, but he will be looking for both his first victory and his first Olympia qualification.
