Magnum Nutraceuticals announces the contract extension of the UFC Lightweight Champion, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis, and the sponsorship of his younger brother, Sergio “The Phenom” Pettis.

Anthony “Showtime” Pettis is a 27-year-old UFC fighter with an incredible highlight-reel of MMA finishes.  Pettis won his lightweight championship belt at UFC 164 when he beat Benson Henderson in the first round, via armbar.  Soon afterwards, he was asked to be a coach on the Ultimate Fighter Season 20.  The time off, however, did not sway the lightweight champion one bit, as he maintained his optimistic nature.

The champion also spent his time off exploding his brand by signing an endorsement contract with Reebok and being chosen to be on the box of Wheaties.

Sergio Pettis will also join Anthony as a sponsored athlete, due to his impressive MMA record and UFC efforts.  Sergio is only 21 years old, and is already one of the top prospects in the bantamweight division.

Sergio won his debut fight at UFC 167 and is coming off of a unanimous decision win at UFC Fight Night 42 this past June.

Both brothers started training at the same time and have been in the MMA journey together.  When asked about his older brother, Sergio stated, “I’m just trying to stay on the same road as him…following the path to greatness.”

The brothers started training together, started taking Magnum supplements together in 2013, and are now officially both sponsored Magnum Nutraceuticals athletes.

“I am a huge fan of the Pettis family! Anthony and Sergio are true gentlemen who work so hard and train like animals, but still know how to have fun and don’t take themselves too seriously.   I know they both love Magnum and I see this being a long-term partnership – like family,” - Markus Kaulius, President of Magnum Nutraceuticals.
