Is Mike Rashid the new gift?
The bodybuilding world can be a truly interesting mistress. You just never quite know what you’re going to learn from day to day or week to week. Just last month the bodybuilding world was put on notice by five time Mr. Olympia champ Phil Heath stating that he would be leaving Gifted Nutrition. It was a bit of an interesting case as so many people were unaware of how little Heath had to do with running the supplement brand.
Mr Olympia, Phil Heath recently talked about not viewing the former bridesmaid as a serious threat; believing the younger bodybuilders present a realistic threat to Kevin Levrone that he's possibly overlooking.
Phil says, "I'm not going to be an *sshole and say it's not a good thing. I mean it's his choice... I think it brings great entertainment to the sport."

Day 1 of the Rio 2016 Games was an eventful one, with two athletes suffering two extremely cringeworthy injuries.
French Gymnast Breaks Leg on Day 1 of Rio Olympics
She may be the "second fittest woman in the world" but Australia's Tia Toomey is only the 14th strongest, based on the results of weightlifting at the Rio Olympics ... and that's only in the 58kg class.
The 23-year-old came second at the World CrossFit Games this year but clearly all that exercise, including bizarre events such as handstand walking, ocean swimming and "suicide sprinting" does not prepare a woman for the snatch and the clean and jerk of Olympic weightlifting
Or, in this case, the return of Kevin Levrone

There are two things that make events really spectacular: spectacle and controversy. P.T. Barnum understood this and staged elaborate parades around the country to promote his shows, complete with elephants parading down the main street of town. Gold’s Gym did the same thing in 1977 when they staged a parade through Santa Monica featuring bodybuilding pro Bill Grant posing on the back of a lumbering pachyderm while marching down Ocean Avenue.
